Pictures of Exterior Double Door Installation below. Started by removing the interior casing. At this point you can see the old door frame has damage. Continued by removing the door slabs, the frame, the stucco molding and the threshold. At this point I noticed one jack stud also had damage, and replaced it with a new one. The interior wood floor had too much overhang, I marked it with a marker lining it up with the surface of the drywall and cut it. I set the new Pre Hung Double Door into place, leveled, shimmed and secured it with screws. I decided to attach the Brick Moulding directly to the door frame, and for this, stucco needed to be cut. In the pictures, you can see where the stucco was marked with a marker. I then cut the stucco using a cutting blade attached to a grinder. I then proceeded and installed brink moulding and interior casing. The last pictures show mortar was added under the brand new threshold giving it extra support, and TaDa! my job is done.
